The Story Behind
My Mission
The cancer journey that changed my life, deepened my faith,
and gave new purpose to everything I do.
For more than twenty years, I had the privilege of helping people restore their health. I built one of the largest chiropractic and wellness clinics in the country, cared for more than a million patient visits, and spent my life teaching one simple belief: the body was designed to heal. I taught that food matters, that stress matters, that sleep matters, that faith matters, and that the choices we make every day shape the health we experience tomorrow.
Then, the week of Thanksgiving in 2024, everything changed.
I was diagnosed with a Grade 4 diffuse astrocytoma, an aggressive brain cancer with no known cure. My doctors gave me a 1% chance of being alive in eight months. In a matter of minutes, I went from being the doctor to becoming the patient.
I'll never forget that night. Stephanie, our kids, and I gathered together to pray, and as we surrendered everything to the Lord, He met us in a way I still cannot fully explain. The diagnosis hadn't changed, but our hearts had. God filled our entire family with a peace that made no earthly sense, and from that moment on, fear no longer had a place in our home.
I knew that if my story ended here, I would simply step into eternity with Jesus, more alive than ever before. But I also carried a deep conviction that God wasn't finished with me yet. The calling He had placed on my life wasn't over. That peace never left us. It carried us through every appointment, every difficult decision, and even an eight hour brain surgery. We knew without question that God was in control, and that was enough.
So I made a decision. I wasn't going to surrender to a statistic. I was going to pursue every opportunity God placed in front of me.
I leaned into everything I had spent my career teaching, the five pillars: diet, detox, supplementation, oxygenation, and most important of all, faith. Not because I believed any single treatment was the answer, but because I wanted to give my body every opportunity to do what God designed it to do.
Four months later, I sat across from my medical team and heard the words I will never forget. There was no evidence of active disease.
People often ask me what worked. The truth is, I don't believe there was one thing. I believe God was faithful. I believe prayer matters. I believe hope changes how we fight. And I believe our bodies are far more capable than most of us realize, once we begin supporting them instead of working against them.
That journey didn't just change my health. It changed my purpose. Today, everything I create is an extension of what I learned in the hardest season of my life. Every article, every video, every podcast, every resource, and every conversation is for the person who is looking for hope when everyone else has handed them fear.
So if you have found your way here because you are facing cancer, chronic illness, overwhelming stress, or a diagnosis that feels impossible, I want you to hear this. Your diagnosis is real, but it does not get to define your future.
Keep asking questions. Keep pursuing wisdom. Keep fighting for your health. Keep believing that God is still writing your story.
Because I have learned something I will never forget. A prognosis is not a promise. And as long as God is on the throne, there is always a reason to hope.
The Five Pillars of Resilience
These are the five areas I focused on throughout my cancer journey. Each one plays a different role, but together they shaped how I approached my terrain, supported my body, and continue to live today.
Faith
The peace that met my family that first night is the same peace available to you. God is greater than any statistic, any expert opinion, and anything standing against you.

Diet
I ate like my life depended on it, because it did. Terrain focused nutrition to make my body a place where disease could no longer thrive.
Detoxificiation
Healing is hard when your body is carrying a load it was never meant to carry. I cleared out what I did not need so my body could do what God designed it to do.
Supplementation
Food gets you most of the way. Testing showed me the rest, and I supplemented with intention instead of hope.
Oxygenation
Otto Warburg's Nobel Prize winning work showed that cancer cells thrive when oxygen is scarce. I built my days around giving my body the opposite.
